Scientist for a Day
Hear stories from the Herbarium and learn about what the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Science Team do in their work.
Children will build on what they already know about plants and nature, and explore their properties more deeply. They will engage their senses as they explore, observe, describe, and compare things that they find in nature.
- Use their senses to explore
- Investigate what scientists who study plants do in their work
- Investigate different plant shapes, sizes, textures, and where they grow
