Reconciliation Action Plan
Reconciliation Action Plan
Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is pleased to have launched its first Reconciliation Action Plan. This Plan focuses on removing barriers to inclusivity in the workplace and fostering a work environment that promotes respect and an appreciation of the rich culture of Australia’s First Peoples. With a key aim of enhancing our reputation as an employer of choice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, this RAP looks to strengthen internal processes, guidelines, and educational initiatives across the Gardens to build a firm foundation for our reconciliation journey.
This RAP was developed by the Gardens’ first RAP Working Group (RWG), which comprised of six Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and six non-Indigenous staff. To view the Reconciliation Action Plan please visit here.
