Raising Rarity Revealed
A behind the scenes tour.
Explore the critical work of Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria on this special Raising Rarity tour.
Head behind the scenes to our RBGV nursery, where you'll learn about the specialist production and propagation techniques used to save Victoria's most threatened plant species. Then, join a guided tour of our research garden, delving into the vital conservation efforts and cutting-edge research supporting these rare species.
At the end of the tour, each participant will receive their very own threatened plant species to take home - so you can do your bit in contributing to the preservation of our precious botanical heritage. Join RBGV in making a difference, one plant at a time.
Presented by Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria as part of the 'Survive & Thrive' program for National Science Week, supported by the Inspiring Victoria program.

Free Shuttle Bus
DailyThe Cranbourne Gardens Shuttle Bus can be booked for transport between Cranbourne Train Station and Cranbourne Gardens for community members and tourists, including those with mobility challenges. The 8 seater bus is comfortable, wheelchair accessible (x1 chair) and has a fully compliant baby seat. Please contact the Cranbourne Gardens Visitor Centre on 03 5990 2262 to make a request.
