Raindance

Available at the spectacular Cranbourne Gardens 

Dance through the water cycle in the Australian Garden and learn about the importance of water. 

Inspired by the story Raindance by Cathy Applegate and Dee Huxley, children will be encouraged to use their movement and creativity to explore all the colours of the rainbow in the landscapes around them and develop their own rain dance. 

Students will

  • Water paint rocks and watch as the water evaporates
  • Create a rhythmic rain dance
  • Pot up their own plant to take home
